Mushroom CSA
Joining a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program is a great way to support a local farm and know exactly where your food is coming from - and the people growing it!
When you join our Mushroom CSA, you'll receive a weekly share of delicious mushrooms, about 1-3 different varieties per week.
We'll share cooking tips and recipe ideas for varieties you may not be familiar with, and may include some special items periodically, such as dried mushrooms or mushroom powder. CSA members also receive discounts on grow kits to grow your own mushrooms at home!
2023 Fall CSA
Sign up now for our 2023 FALL CSA and receive a weekly supply of fresh mushrooms for 12 weeks, starting in October!
When you sign up below, you'll be asked to pay in full for the entire 12-weeks. If you'd like to set up a payment plan instead, please contact us! We're happy to accommodate as best we can!
Share Sizes:
Full Share | $240: 1 pound/week for 12 weeks
Half Share | $120: 1/2 pound/week for 12 weeks
Pickup Locations:
Tuesdays | 5-6pm at Roaming Root
*IMPORTANT: Roaming Root is currently located in Chena Pump Plaza, however, they may be moving to their new College Road location sometime in October or November. If they do, this pickup will be moving with them so please keep that in mind when choosing this location!
Thursdays | 12-8pm at Boreal Woods Mushroom Farm
*We are located on Old Wood Road, about a mile up the Old Nenana Highway in Ester. This pickup will be self-serve and you can pickup anytime on Thursday between 12-8pm — our most flexible pickup option!
